Volcanic glaze
is a project that Thor and G.Helga (in Eldstó) have been working in partnership with Bjarnheiði Jóhannsdóttir professional advisers. Bjarnheiður has a MA degree from the Hungarian Academy of Industrial Arts, with specialization in chemistry of glazes. She taught chemistry in the Art & handicraft school and later at the Academy school of Art from 1994 until 2000.
